This Tribute is supporting Derbyshire Leicestershire Rutland Air Ambulance. In 2012, David had a heart attack and needed immediate, specialist treatment, but the hospital was more than an hour away by road. Thanks to the Air Ambulance service, he was flown to Glenfield Hospital, received the necessary treatment, made a full recovery and enjoyed nearly 9 more years of life. David and family have continued to support fundraising for the service ever since, and it was his wish that any donations in his memory should be for this charity.
